Our Wrapping Paper rolls are made from recycled materials, always plastic free with no necessary packaging and fully recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. Our Christmas collection derives from the British winter woodlands to the icy Arctic circle.
Festive foliage and frosted textures are showcased through intricate hand-illustrated artwork whilst capturing the simplicity of design through an Eco-conscious Christmas. Added hand-drawn scripts accompany the designs to create an overall cohesive Christmas look Our gift paper are proudly made in the UK working towards being carbon neutral in collaboration with Woodland Trust.
The manufacturer is responsive and reactive and is supporting local employment and the economy, whilst additionally reducing our carbon footprint. Our manufacturing facility is powered with electricity exclusively from renewable sources.
We have removed all plastic shrink film from the roll wrap in this range, with an innovative environmentally friendly labelling solution Our wrapping paper brand is a a sustainable brand; with our mission being to make a difference through producing carbon neutral, recycled, sustainable and ethical products in the UK. Our manufacturer is dedicated in investing in the Woodland trusts woodland carbon scheme to mitigate all emissions resulting from the production of all our wrapping paper products which will go towards helping make our products carbon neutral.
Greener Route’s carefully sourced and selected manufacturers pride themselves on the fact they are British based, with a large majority of our products being manufactured and produced in factories in Suffolk and Essex here in the UK.
Our suppliers use water based inks and all our standard paper is FSC certified and a minimum 90gsm. Our product comprises giftwrap, flatsheets, rollwrap, gift tags, counter rolls, gift bags, gift boxes, gift packaging accessories, bows & ribbons,

All Greener Route’s Manufacturer products are FSC® certified. The label awarded by Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC® promotes an environmentally friendly, socially acceptable, and economically sustainable forest management – for the benefit of today’s and our future generations.
FSC® achieves its goal, the responsible use of our global forest resources, by establishing and reviewing environmental and social standards in forest management on the one hand, and by considering recycling materials on the other.

The goal of climate protection is to counteract human-made global warming and to limit its consequences. Holistic climate protection relies on the avoidance or reduction of greenhouse gases.
Since 2003, we have been working with the Federal Environment Office and thanks to targeted invest-ments, we have managed to continuously reduce our CO2 emissions.

Plastic-free packaging
For the wrapping service at the point of sale, Greener Route’s Manufacturer offers an exclusive selection of gift wrapping paper. The counter rolls are available in three standard widths. For the sake of the environment, Greener Route’s Manufacturer now goes without shrink-packing on selected designs. In order to further protect the high-quality paper, one meter extra is wound onto every roll. These products have been awarded the “No Plastic” label.

MINDFUL GIVING presents a selection of Greener Route’s Manufacturer gift wraps that satisfies the need for mindful giving. This product line is all about recyclable materials. A new addition is wrapping paper made from grass fibres – an energy- and water-saving alternative to conventional paper. In addition, the plastic shrinkage of the cardboard boxes, carrier bags and pouches has been replaced by a paper sleeve.
All products are FSC®-certified (FSC® C018069). Our high-quality materials and workmanship offer a wide range of many wonderful further uses, wether for gifts or for safekeeping. Giving gifts wrapped in environmentally friendly materials has seldom reflected such beauty.

As a gift packaging supplier, we are aware that our business has an impact on the environment. So it only feels right to take some steps to increase our environmental responsibility and do something to help the natural world that we feel so passionately about.
Our suppliers have teamed up with Ecologi and Eden Reforestation Projects to plant a tree for every order we receive, and in turn, begin to offset our carbon footprint.
In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t enough. But we hope that this will be the first of many steps taken in the months and years to come to do our bit to help fix the environmental crisis.
