Dispatch and delivery

When do we dispatch your order?

We aim to dispatch orders placed before 12pm on a working day the same day, and orders placed after 12pm (or on a non-working day) the next working day. During sales and busy periods, dispatch may take longer.

How do we send your order?

We send orders via Royal Mail, UPS, or DHL. Orders can be delivered to a home or business address of your choice. We will email you when your order leaves our warehouse, including a tracking link where available.

Our couriers do not require a signature on delivery — please choose a delivery address where someone can be available to receive the goods. If nobody is available, the courier will typically attempt delivery twice before leaving your order at a local depot or safe place, or as otherwise instructed. Items left at a depot must be collected within seven days or they will be returned to us.

UK mainland deliveries typically arrive 2–3 business days after dispatch; deliveries elsewhere may take longer.

UK delivery charges

• Parcels up to 2kg: £5.99 (48-hour tracked service).
• Parcels over 2kg and up to 15kg: £8.75 (24-hour tracked service).
• Parcels over 15kg: £0.50 per kg.
• Some items include free delivery — these are clearly labelled on the product page.
• Orders over £150 (after discounts, excluding delivery) are delivered free of charge within the UK mainland.

Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Shetland, Northern Ireland, or the postcode areas listed below carry an additional £4 delivery charge — please select the relevant delivery option at checkout: KW15–17 (Orkney), HS (Outer Hebrides), KA27 (Isle of Arran), KA28 (Isle of Cumbrae), PH42–44 (Eigg, Rùm and Canna), PA60–78 (Jura, Colonsay, Iona, Mull, Tiree and Coll), PA42–48 (Bute, Islay and Gigha), TR21–25 (Isles of Scilly), PO30–PO41 (Isle of Wight).

Channel Islands

We can deliver to Jersey and Guernsey; an additional delivery fee applies, set by our couriers.

International delivery

We do not currently deliver outside the United Kingdom and Channel Islands.

Packaging

Our packaging is environmentally friendly and, where possible, fully recyclable, renewable, and biodegradable. Where we have no practical alternative to using plastic to protect your order in transit, we use recycled plastic air pillows or bio-plastics made from sustainable, biodegradable plant material. We reuse cardboard boxes where we can, and protect items with a mix of biodegradable corn-starch packaging and recyclable brown paper.

Your right to cancel (change of mind)

If you are a consumer (buying mainly for personal, non-business use), you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods, without needing to give a reason.

To cancel, tell us clearly — by email to admin@greenerroute.com, quoting your order number — within that 14-day period. You then have a further 14 days from telling us to send the goods back to us.

Once you have told us you wish to cancel and we receive the goods back (or you provide evidence you have sent them), we will refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method you used to pay, unless you agree otherwise. We may make a deduction from the refund for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and how they work.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or was mis-described, the cost of returning the goods to us is your responsibility.

This cancellation right does not affect your separate legal rights if goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described — see below.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in addition to the cancellation right above, including:

• A short-term right to reject faulty goods for a full refund, normally available for 30 days from delivery.
• After 30 days, a right to a repair or replacement, and if that is not possible or does not fix the problem, a right to a price reduction or to reject the goods for a refund.

Please email admin@greenerroute.com with your order number, a description of the fault or damage, and photos where possible, as soon as you become aware of the issue. We will cover reasonable return postage for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items — please contact us before returning so we can arrange this.

How to return an item

Email admin@greenerroute.com with your order number and the reason for return. For a change-of-mind return, please return the item unused, in its original packaging, and in re-saleable condition. We may be unable to offer a full refund on items returned used, opened, or without original packaging, other than for faulty, damaged, or mis-described items.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order. We aim to process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item or evidence that it has been sent.
