About Us

Our Story

GreenerRoute launched in February 2020 — one month before the world changed. I started the company on a simple conviction: that the products we all use every day, from packaging to household essentials, shouldn’t cost the earth to make, ship, or throw away.

I’m Fabien Bello, and I’m still the person behind every order. GreenerRoute isn’t run by a team or a warehouse of staff — it’s one person sourcing every product, packing every shipment, and answering every email, built on the belief that a genuinely sustainable business can work, one parcel at a time.

Our Mission

My aim is simple to state and ambitious to reach: a zero-carbon, plastic-free world built on a true circular economy, where nothing is wasted and everything has a second life. I believe the earth is the most important currency we have — and every decision GreenerRoute makes, from which supplier we choose to what goes inside a parcel, is weighed against that.

Our Pledge

• We’re committed to doing the least possible harm to the environment, with zero-waste, plastic-free practices across everything we sell.
• Every product we stock is manufactured responsibly and is vegan — never tested on animals.
• Where a handful of products still rely on plastic (some eco household items, where no true alternative exists yet), we only use fully recycled, fully recyclable plastic — we never buy anything newly produced.
• GreenerRoute is a carbon-neutral company, and our website’s own emissions are automatically calculated and offset through tree-planting with our partner Tree-Nation.
• We source from UK manufacturers wherever we can, and never further afield than necessary, to keep our carbon footprint as small as it can be.
• We’re always looking for the next genuinely greener innovation — this pledge is a floor, not a ceiling.

Our Packaging

Everything we ship holds itself to the same standard as what’s inside it: 100% recyclable or compostable, and 99% biodegradable. Where a small amount of plastic is genuinely unavoidable — protective void fill, for instance — it’s only ever plastic we’ve reused from our own suppliers’ boxes, never bought new. Our tapes are Kraft paper, fully biodegradable.

One Order, One Tree

Every order places a tree in the ground, through our partnership with Tree-Nation — real reforestation projects, including in Madagascar and Tanzania. It costs you nothing extra; it’s simply part of how we do business.
